Reviews and Ratings
I had a nice stay at Skytop, enjoying the scenic beauty and a range of activities for the family. However, some aspects, like dining service and snow tubing, could use improvement. The rooms were comforting, but a bit outdated, and there were some disappointments regarding skiing availability during our visit.
My stay at the lodge was a delightful surprise! The accommodations were charming and well-maintained, providing a cozy atmosphere. The service was attentive, making me feel welcomed at every turn. However, the dining experience left something to be desired. The location was scenic, providing a peaceful escape, but some amenities were closed during my visit, which was disappointing.
My family and I had quite the experience at Skytop Lodge. We were captivated by the picturesque surroundings and the range of activities available, but we encountered some noise issues during our stay that detracted from our overall enjoyment. The food was a highlight, especially in the Taproom, but some dining experiences left us wanting more in terms of service. Overall, it was a mixed bag, leaving us unsure about a return visit.
Skytop Lodge offers a stunning natural setting and lovely grounds perfect for outdoor activities. The accommodations, while charming, showed wear and could use some updates. Despite the beautiful surroundings, dining experiences varied, with some meals leaving much to be desired. Overall, the lodge is a great escape for a weekend getaway, but guests should be aware of potential additional fees that can drive up the total cost.
My stay at Skytop was enchanting, brimming with delightful activities for the whole family and set against the stunning backdrop of the Pocono Mountains. The historic charm of the lodge truly adds to the experience, but I did find the rooms a bit small and in need of some soundproofing. Overall, it was a refreshing getaway with excellent dining options, though the pricing structure with added gratuities felt a bit excessive.
